Unimec Reserved Area: all of our online tools in a nutshell

In the most recent years we have invested considerable resources to digitalize a variety of processes, improve our online tool suite and offer a much easier, complete and prompt service to our users.

 

The Reserved Area of our website is one of the tools that, over time, has seen the main developments: this area contains various free apps and essential information regarding our product range. Users are able to independently access this area at any time and from any device.

Given the resonance of this tool, and in order to reach a larger number of users in a familiar language, the Reserved Area is available in Italian, English, French, German, Spanish and Russian.

Being a completely automated tool, the apps offer immediate feedback, eliminating, or significantly reducing waiting times: the Build & Price tool, as an example, greatly reduces the time typically needed to obtain a personalized quote.

For those of you who have never used our Reserved Area, as well as those who are interested in a more in-depth overview of this area, here is a brief description of its main features:

• Sizing Tool

By entering the main parameters of the application (payload, stroke, speed, etc.) a simulation of the ideal layout is generated within minutes.

At the end of the process, the user receives a complete report with a technical drawing and specs of the configured product.

These reports are only available to the user and are not sent to Unimec; therefore the use of this tool has no strings attached and requires no commitment.

• Build & Price

Unimec Build & Price is an intuitive configuration tool that enables the Customer to configure any standard Unimec product and receive a quote in noticeably shorter times compared to a traditional RFQ.

• Serial Number Search

A Serial Number Search Engine for all of our products manufactured after 2014.

Each search returns the main technical specs of the product and allows the user to send an RFQ.

• “My requests”

This section contains a search history of all requests from the user. The history, in chronological order, allows accessing an overview of the user activity and quickly retrieving previous searches.

These are the free functions currently available in the Reserved Area: our goal is to further implement this area with new and more innovative tools and transform the Reserved Area in a vital, yet easy and intuitive platform for all of our users.
